Project Description
Heading across to Painswick from Brockworth, along the Painswick Road there’s a monastery called Prinknash Abbey. There’s some amazing views across Gloucester from up there- although this painting is of some of the trees that line the top of the road. It’s a study of the light and shade that the evening sunshine provides in the late Summer. I used thicker layers of paint and some more detailed work in the foreground.
