Project Description
This enormous acrylic landscape painting depicts the Cregennan Lakes at Cadair Idris, a lake situated between Fairbourne and Dolgellau in Mid Wales. I love painting skies and the scene presented a perfect opportunity to make the most of a “cloudscape”. The lake reflecting the dull grey from the stormy clouds and the surrounding foreboding mountains all make great elements for a large-scale landscape like this.
